Guidance

Please take note of the following guidance as your booking may not be completed if you do not and you may be refused entry on the day of your training.

Completing the form

Please ensure that you have chosen a venue with availability. You can verify whether or not there is availability by looking at the 'Time' section of the page. If there is no availability on the date you have selected, you will see a message saying "There is no availability on this date. Please choose another one".

Where there is a session available, the previously mentioned 'Time' section will show a time ("9:30"). You must ensure that you have also selected this before completing the rest of the form (the ‘Time’ will be red if you have selected it).

Then complete all of the mandatory fields of the form, including the 'Data Processing Confirmation' check box, before clicking on the 'Book Now' button.

If you have completed the form correctly, you should see a confirmation message on the current screen.

This will also be followed by an email being sent to your inbox from the system with details about the venue you have chosen to book.

In some cases, you might see the confirmation message on the screen, but you do not receive the confirmation email. This will either be because you have miss typed your email address or it may have found its way to your ‘Junk’ folder. If you do not receive the confirmation email and you have checked to see if it is in your ‘Junk’ folder, but can’t see it in there, please get in touch and we can verify whether or not you have a booking.

If you do not see the confirmation message on the screen, you need to scroll up and check for any validation messages informing you of any errors you may have made or information you have missed.

 

General Questions and who to contact

When will I receive my certificate?

We issue certificates in the first week of the following month or your training. We have to send them as a batch, due to the fact that we are issuing over 1500 certificates per month.

We also send attendance status updates to our providers, so your training team can update your learning record/learning management system, in the same period (although, there may be a slight delay as they will need to time to update your record).

How do I know if there is availability on a particular date?

If you click on any venue, then select a date that you would like to attend in the 'Date' section of the booking form. You can then return to the venue list above and click on the different venues to see if there is any availability on that date. You will be able to tell if that date is available at the last venue you selected by looking at the 'Date' section, as it will turn red when there is availability. You can also tell by looking at the 'Time' section of the form, as this will change from a message stating "There is no availability on this date. Please choose another one", to displaying a time ('9:30'), which you must click on before completeing the rest of the form.

How do I know if there is availability at a particular venue?

If you would like to check the availability at a particular venue, you can click on the venue at the top and then scroll down to the 'Date' section of the form. The days where the venue is available, are in black writting, as opposed to being greyed out. When you click on the dates that are black, you will notice that they have a red dot around them and there is a time available in the 'Time' section of the form. You must also click on this time ('9:30') before completing the rest of the form.

Where are the venues I have heard about? I can't see them!

In order to give you the latest availability accross the Birmingham and Solihull area, we only list venues that are currently available to book. Therefore, we may take some venues off the list from time to time. Where new dates become available at our venues, they will be re-added to the list of options.

It is also important to note that some of our bookings are offered out exclusively, these venues will not be listed on the general access form (below) and you may need to get in touch with your training lead within your organisation to request the link to book on to these sessions. The guidance on this page is still relevant, but you may need to access a different booking form.

Please also take note of the 'Show more services' button on the form below. Clicking this button, will show any services that are available (including Flash Climbing Centre in Solihull, which has the most availability).
