Tier 1 Booking Form

Guidance

Please take note of the following guidance as your booking may not be completed if you do not and you may not receive a joining link for the session.

Completing the form

Please ensure that you have chosen a date with availability. You can verify whether or not there is availability by looking at the 'Time' section of the page. If there is no availability on the date you have selected, you will see a message saying "There is no availability on this date. Please choose another one".

Where there is a session available, the previously mentioned 'Time' section will show at least one time slot. You must ensure that you have also selected this before completing the rest of the form (the ‘Time’ will be red if you have selected it).

Then complete all of the mandatory fields of the form, including the 'Data Processing Confirmation' check box, before clicking on the 'Book Now' button.

If you have completed the form correctly, you should see a confirmation message on the current screen.

This will also be followed by an email being sent to your inbox from the system with details about your booking.

In some cases, you might see the confirmation message on the screen, but you do not receive the confirmation email. This will either be because you have miss typed your email address or it may have found its way to your ‘Junk’ folder. If you do not receive the confirmation email and you have checked to see if it is in your ‘Junk’ folder, but can’t see it in there, please get in touch and we can verify whether or not you have a booking.

If you do not see the confirmation message on the screen, you need to scroll up and check for any validation messages informing you of any errors you may have made or information you have missed.

As the Tier 1 sessions are hosted remotely via Teams, you will receive a Teams invite separately within 4 days of the session taking place.

General Questions and who to contact

When will I receive my certificate?

We issue certificates in the first week of the following month or your training. We have to send them as a batch, due to the fact that we are issuing over 1500 certificates per month.

We also send attendance status updates to our providers, so your training team can update your learning record/learning management system, in the same period (although, there may be a slight delay as they will need to time to update your record).

How do I know if there is availability on a particular date?

You will be able to tell if a date is available by clicking on a date in the calendar found in the 'Date' section and checking to see if it has turned into a red dot. You can also tell by looking at the 'Time' section of the form, as this will change from a message stating "There is no availability on this date. Please choose another one", to displaying a time, which you must click on before completeing the rest of the form.

The days where sessions are available, are in black writting, as opposed to being greyed out. When you click on the dates that are black, you will notice that they have a red dot around them and there is a time available in the 'Time' section of the form. You must also click on this time before completing the rest of the form.

I've successfully made a booking, when will I receive my link to the Teams meeting

We send out a Teams Meeting Invite 3-4 days prior to the session. If you have booked on to a session in a few weeks time, you will receive your Joining link via a Teams Invite closer to the session. If you haven't received it within that time, you may have either input your email address incorrectly into the form when making your booking or the invite has gone to your 'Junk' folder. In this instance, please check your 'Junk' folder and if you still can't find it there, you can get in touch with us via the details below.

It is important to note that if you have received an invite and 'accepted' it, you will no longer see it in your inbox as it will be on your calendar, as described below.

I can't find my joining link for the session

In some cases, delegates are 'accepting' the invite when it arrives in their inbox and then they cannot find it when attempting to join the session. This is because it will have been removed from their inbox and added to their calendar.

If you cannot locate the email, but you remember receiving it, you may have accepted the invite. In this case, open your calendar and move to the date of the training, where you will see the event. Double click on this to open the event and you will see a 'Join here' link that you can click on. Alternatively, if you open the Teams application, then navigate to your calendar, you should see it on there and you can click once to open the joining options menu, where you can click on the 'Join' button that appears.
